19 Powerfull EBV performance recorded Burenda Angus bulls were offered from Burenda Angus in the draft of 57 mixed breeds sold at the Black Stump Bull sale.

The 19 month old Burenda angus bulls averaged $4394.74 for a 100% clearance rate.  Lot 6 Burenda Koan K416 was the top priced bull of the sale at $7000, and was an AI son of Werner Westward 357 who we sold a half brother Lot 7 at our Roma sale 2015 for $12500.

The purchaser of Lot 6 Rob Bain 'Mt Eden' Roma took home a very well put together run of 6 angus bulls in total through Landmark Roma.  Burenda took the time to deliver these bulls post sale to 'Mt Eden'.

Purchasers came from local and some distances such as Clermont, Apha, Barcaldine, Jericho, Roma, Blackall, Dalby, and Mitchell to sucure first class genetics and sensibly prepared bulls.  Buyers appreciated the information on display with full pedigrees, EBV's, weights and scanning data, vaccination history, and semen and morphology testing results all available.   At Burenda Angus and Brangus we place emphasis on doing the right thing not only prior to sale day but also post sale for our new and repeat buyers.

I would like to thank all buyers, under bidders and agents for making the effort to attend the sale and we look forward to next years.

The Black Stump Bull Sale over all breeds averaged $4237 for 57 bulls with a clearance of 98%.
